Emily Kerr-Bell Returns for the DSO’s ABBA Extravaganza!
Emily Kerr-Bell is thrilled to be back on stage performing in the 'DSO plays Abba!!'
Emily Kerr-Bell is thrilled to be back on stage with the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra! After her powerful performance as a lead vocalist in last year’s All You Need Is Love concert, she’s ready to bring her energy and passion to another orchestral celebration of an iconic group—this time, ABBA!
Emily is a recent graduate in music and theatre from Otago University. Her impressive journey has been marked by major accolades, including an arts scholarship for post-graduate study in 2023, the inaugural Six60 Scholarship in 2022, and the Colin McDonald Memorial Prize in the same year. This year, Emily and her band, Emily Alice, made waves with the release of their debut EP and an acclaimed nationwide tour.
With her deep love for performance and connection with the audience, Emily can’t wait to lead audiences in this unforgettable ABBA experience. "I hope everyone is ready to sing along to these incredible hits!" she says, looking forward to another magical evening with the DSO.
