Concerts are held in the Town Hall and the King’s and Queen’s Performing Arts Centre.
Dunedin Town Hall
All three International Series concerts and the Arts Festival Dunedin concert will be presented in the acoustically superb and elegant Town Hall auditorium at the Dunedin Centre in Moray Place.
King’s and Queen’s Performing Arts Centre
Matinée Series concerts are presented in the King’s and Queen’s Performing Arts Centre, 270 Bay View Road, South Dunedin. This venue is easy to get to, has good parking, excellent sight lines for the whole audience , comfortable facilities, and its acoustics are very good.
At the Dunedin Town Hall spaces for wheelchairs are available in the Stalls area. Please ask about these when booking your seats. Wheelchair access to the Town Hall is via the Harrop Street entrance (near the corner of Moray Place). Patrons seated in the Gallery who have difficulty using stairs may use the lift near the Harrop Street entrance to the Glenroy Auditorium.
At the King’s and Queen’s Performing Arts Centre there is a ramp for wheelchair access to the front entrance and a limited number of spaces are available for wheelchairs. We would advise wheelchair patrons to book their seats well in advance of the concert. Patrons who have difficulty using stairs should note that the auditorium is stepped. We would advise such patrons to book their seats well in advance of the concert and request a seat near the front of the auditorium.
